Dear Santa,

“and just as My Father has granted Me a kingdom, I grant you.” NASV

It has been a long time since I wrote a letter to Santa Clause. Today, as we prepare for Christmas, I feel inspired to do so.

Dear Santa,

When I was a little girl, I wished for a Barbie Dream House, and I got it. As a young girl, I asked for a pink jacket with the words Princess on it to match the pink helmet my dad bought me, and I got it. Then, when I was a little older, I asked for a leather bomber, and although I knew at this time, my dad was Santa, I waited in anticipation on Christmas day all the same, and I got it.

Now that I am all grown up, I understand that although Santa came in the form of my mother, father, grandparents, and other family members, it was GOD who made it all possible. GOD is the true Santa who has been bringing me presents in the form of blessings all my life.

So, in this letter, I want to say thank you to all those in my life who helped me believe in Santa as a little girl. I want to say thank you to the one true Santa who blessed me with parents who cared enough to give me something to believe in. Although, they are not here with me now, thank you for giving me the time I had with them.

Thank you for all you HAVE done in my life. Thank you for all you ARE doing in my life. Thank you for all you WILL do in my life. You have never let me down!!

Most importantly, thank you for keeping me and teaching me what the true spirit of Christmas is all about. It is about our Savior, your SON, who gave us the greatest gift of all.

Thank you, Santa!

Love always,

Rev. Marshall

God bless you!
