God Already Done Told You!

“God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?” Numbers 23:19

“God Already Done Told You!” is a comment I am sure many of you heard some point or another in your life.

If not, it is a common phrase that Mothers in church would say to you if you were worrying about something or worrying them about something you have already taken to GOD. Many of them, in their old wisdom, have the patience and faith that you and I wish we had. It is not easy, but we try. LORD knows I do, don’t you?

Let me put it this way:

  • You second guess decision you made due to fear or doubt.
  • You took a problem to GOD and was led by the Holy Spirit on what to do, yet you hesitate to move forward.
  • You believe in the WORD of GOD, and trust HE will do what HE says, yet you think your problem it too big to be solved.
  • You took that leap of faith and did something out of your comfort zone, now you are not sure if you did the right thing.
  • You are having problems in your marriage, a relationship, a friendship, or on your job and you gave it to GOD, yet you continue to doubt the outcome.
  • You walk by faith and not by sight, yet you measure GODS blessings by your expectations.

Does any of this sound like you? Be honest my friend, does it sound like you? I know it sound like me at times. However, no need to feel ashamed or hang your head in sorrow because we are all human and fall short of the grace afforded to us by CHRIST. And just because we have doubts, does not make us any less faithful.

Here is the thing, believing in GOD and HIS blessings does not automatically make us blindly believe that all our problems will go away. Believing in GOD means having faith in HIM and allowing ourselves to be open enough to surrender completely to HIM. This is the area that many of us struggle with. This comes before anything else. We must surrender to him completely! Once we surrender ourselves, it allows HIM to work on us so we can see the work HE does in everything else around us.

With that said, if you are not where you need to be, and things are not going as they should, be still and let GOD work. Open and release yourself to HIM. After all, GOD already done told you!

May you have a blessed and spirit filled week.

God bless you,
