“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13
Can you believe it! I mean seriously, can you believe it? Thanksgivings was last week and the 2021 Holiday season is well on its way. And guess what family???? I am so ready for it. Trust me it is not about presents or anything like that. It is all about being thankful and blessed!
The last few years has taught me that we have so much to be thankful for. We are still trying to navigate our new norm with COVID, and still, we have so much to be thankful for.
Who would have thought masks would become a regular part of our wardrobe? Watching people go about their daily business wearing a mask is something we watched on TV. This was not something we thought we would be doing. But here we are. This is normal!!!
Considering the new norm, and the way in which we must live our lives today, we are still blessed, and for that, I am so very thankful to be able to celebrate another holiday season. One I can celebrate happy and healthy!
One we can all celebrate…… together! Just think about it!
Beautiful Christmas lights brightening up the streets, soothing Christmas music playing as we shop in stores, the laughs, and giggles of children as they prepare their lists for Santa Claus, and special programs our Church leaders prepare to ensure we remember what the holidays are all about. Can you see it?
Oh, how I love the holiday season. I love the way it makes people feel. I love the way it makes me feel. I love the togetherness it fosters all over the world, and especially in our own homes. But most importantly, I love the meaning of the holiday season. I love the sacrifices made by our heavenly Father, so we have something to celebrate today.
Everything we do, everything we are, and everything we will be is all in celebration of the chosen one, who gave his life for us. How can we not celebrate the holidays? We are celebrating HIM!
The Holiday Season is Here! Let us celebrate! Let us celebrate together.
God bless you,
